Kick-off event Research Platform Metabolism 2025
On Friday, November 28, the kick-off meeting of the Metabolism Platform of the Medical University of Vienna took place in the Van Swieten Hall with over 80 participants. We would like to express our sincere thanks to all those present for their enthusiastic participation and inspiring scientific exchange.
Special thanks go to Prof. Kirsty Spalding (Karolinska Institutet, Sweden) and Prof. Nicola Zamboni (ETH Zürich), whose outstanding keynote lectures provided valuable impetus for the field of research.
We would also like to thank Vice Rector Michaela Fritz, who awarded six seeding grants to promising young scientists during the event – from PhD students and postdocs to young investigators on their way to scientific independence.
Thank you all for your contributions, your interest, and the collective momentum that made this kick-off a successful start for future collaborations.
